Our party was totally cool. Lots of people came and lots of them were people we had not seen in a long time. We had, in all the organising, totally forgotten that people might bring presents (we are sooooo unworldly) and so we were overwhelmed with nice stuff that we had no way of transporting (we were on bikes), including a very good coffee-grinder that goes with our espresso addiction (bliss). Fortunately we have very nice neighbours who carried some back on their bikes and someone with a car helped too.
